Save these down to make for Halloween! These 4 ingredient apple pops are simple to make and are a great way to welcome spooky season. All you need is an apple, semi-sweet chocolate, white chocolate, and mini chocolate chips (can you tell we love chocolate??)
It’s almost spooky season and we’re rounding up our favorite Halloween treats! These apple pops are made with just five ingredients: apples, white chocolate, plant-based natural orange food color, semi-sweet chocolate, and dye-free candy for the green stem. It’s a fun after-school treat and a great hands-on activity for the kids to get creative!
An easy way to spice up snack time for the kids is to change the way a typical snack is presented. Watch as we level up our apples and peanut butter while getting the kids to eat superfood hemp seeds as well as vitamin rich pumpkin & sunflower seeds 😉
Let’s get all the Autumn feels together with these no-bake breakfast treats. 🍂 Crunchy granola combined with creamy nut butter forms our addicting cup’s base. Once frozen, we fill it with tart Greek yogurt topped with cinnamon coated cooked apples and a drizzle of sweet honey or pure maple syrup.
If you’re looking for a wonderful seasonal food activity to do with the kids, I highly recommend these apple “donuts”! Both Liv and Sawyer had the best time painting and decorating their apple slices. It’s great for fine motor skills and sparks creativity. All you need is 2 apples, a cup of Greek yogurt (nondairy yogurt works great too if vegan!) and 2 starter spoons to act as their paint brushes. (Also note that the yogurt can easily be replaced with chocolate spread, peanut butter, or hazelnut spread. The options are endless!) Fill some bowls with different toppings, and let their imagination take care of the rest!
Back to school season is upon us and we’re celebrating with a yummy after-school snack! 🐛 All you need are green apples, a strawberry, raisins, blueberries, popcorn and cheddar balls.
Our must-haves for the new school year? 📚🚌
* A sturdy lunchbox (that even my 6 year old can’t break)🥪
* Easy-to-pack snacks 🍎
* A carefree attitude 😅 Some days, there will be time (and energy!) for cute, themed lunches… and other days, the freezer stash will be our lunchbox hero. 🧇🍏
What’s in our lunchbox??
✏️ Pencil waffle sandwiches (using peanut butter as the spread). If not going the themed route, we just send in waffles without shaping them.
🐛 Hungry caterpillar apples (our kids dip the fruit into peanut butter)
🔥 S’mores energy bites (using almond butter as the base)… these are no-bake and store in the freezer as an easy grab and go make-ahead snack
These 5 ingredient bite-sized banana bites will be your new go-to whenever you need something sweet! When bananas are frozen, they have a magical way of becoming creamy like ice cream. Topped with peanut butter and chocolate, we finished these babies off with peanuts for a Snickers touch.
You’ll never guess these Olympic rings are made with chocolate covered apple slices! Dye-free and gluten-free, these cupcakes are bursting with fresh summer blueberries. A must make for any Olympics themed party!
