Mint Hot Cocoa

Now that the colder winter months have arrived, it’s time to bundle up with our plant-based hot chocolate! Made with Happy Way Cacao Mint Hemp Protein Powder, this superfood powder adds mint chocolate flavor plus a scoop of fiber, iron, and magnesium. It’s also rich in omega 3 and omega 6 essential fatty acids that help energy production and strengthen the immune system. Gluten-free, vegan friendly, non GMO, and organically grown, it’s also rich in antioxidants from the added chia seeds!

Ingredients
 2 cups almond milk
 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
 2 tbsp maple syrup

In a small saucepan, bring the milk to a boil.

Reduce heat to a simmer and stir in the cocoa powder, maple syrup, hemp protein powder, and vanilla extract. Whisk well.

Pour into cups and top with optional whipped cream, marshmallows, and cacao nibs. Enjoy!
