Rosemary Garlic Chicken Wings Smothered in Crispy Onions

 2 lbs chicken wings
2 onions, cut into thin slices
 ¾ cup olive oil
 ½ cup lemon juice
 6 cloves garlic, minced
 2 tbsp rosemary
 ½ cup parsley
 1 tbsp oregano
 1 tsp pepper
 2 tsp salt
1

Create marinade in a small bowl by combining olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, rosemary, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Whisk together and pour in a resealable bag with the raw chicken wings. Shake the bag to coat the wings and marinate in the refrigerator (I prep it the night before so it soaks up the juices for an extended period of time).

2

When ready to barbecue, slice the onions and saute in a medium frying pan with oil.

3

Preheat barbecue on medium heat for 5 minutes. Coat the grill with nonstick spray. Line the grill with the chicken wings and cook for 12 minutes, then flip the chicken.

4

Wait another 12 minutes and remove from heat.

5

Combine the crispy onions with chicken.
