Strawberry Hearts

pov: you’re a millennial mom raised on mnms and KitKat bars but you want better options for your kids… then you landed on the right page! If you’re following along, you like simple treats made with cleaner ingredients that you can actually pronounce. 🍓 These chocolate strawberries are incredibly easy to make and are the perfect feel-good Valentine’s Day treat. A little chocolate, a little fruit… it’s a win win.

Utensils Used
Ingredients
 Strawberries, stem removed, sliced vertically
6 oz chocolate chipsMelt with 1/2 tsp coconut oil
6 oz white chocolate chips, for decoratingOptional
1

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2

After slicing your strawberries, add two slices to a heart toothpick.

3

Dip in melted chocolate (or spoon it on) and set on the parchment paper. Freeze for 10 minutes.

4

Drizzle with melted white chocolate (or dye it pink with the plant-based food color), and add sprinkles. Enjoy right away or put in the freeze for another 10 minutes for the chocolate to harden. Store in the fridge but eat within a day (otherwise the strawberries won't hold up). Enjoy!
