With the school year quickly approaching, I’ve been compiling a list of quick + easy breakfast ideas we can grab and go. Made with just 𝓯𝓸𝓾𝓻 ingredients, these cereal bars are a kid-friendly breakfast that are super versatile and great for meal prep. Unlike many store-bought cereal bars, these are made with ingredients you can actually pronounce and are a good source of fiber, protein, and healthy fats.
In small saucepan on low heat, combine your peanut butter and maple syrup until runny and heated through. Turn off the flame.
Add in your cereal + hemp hearts (plus any additional add-ins) and gently mix until completely coated.
Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper. Pour your mixture in, and press down firmly into place (I usually cover the top with another piece of parchment paper and use a glass to press down to flatten). Freeze for 30 min, and enjoy! Store in the freezer.
