Creamy and protein-rich, our homemade hummus is made with simple ingredients and comes together in a blender making cleanup a cinch! With canned chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and spices, this easy dip will become your new favorite go-to snack!

1 (15 oz) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
¼ cup tahini
¼ cup lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
¾ tsp salt
½ tsp ground cumin
Optional: Extra olive oil, sumac, paprika, and red pepper chili flakes for serving

In a food processor, combine the tahini and lemon juice and process for a little over 1 minute.

Add the olive oil, garlic, salt, and cumin to the food processor. Pule for another 30 seconds.

Add in chickpeas. Process for a few minutes until well combined. Scrape down the sides and process again.

Serve drizzled with olive oil and a sprinkle of sumac or paprika. Enjoy!
