I'm all about nutritious yet filling snacks for my kids that they can create with me. I find when the kids pitch in, it gets them more excited to eat the healthy foods we're making together. These frozen chocolate peanut butter banana bites are a great snack option because they're rich in potassium from the bananas, protein from the peanut butter, and healthy fat from the superfood hemp hearts!
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small pot, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil.
In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter with the hemp seeds.
Slice the bananas into coins. Spread a little peanut butter on each coin and cover with another banana slice.
Dip each banana sandwich into the melted chocolate halfway. Place on parchment paper, sprinkle with sea salt, and then with sprinkles.
Freeze for an hour, and enjoy!
