Short on time but still want a festive treat this Memorial Day or Fourth of July? I got you. Just melt some white chocolate, add in plant based blue and red, and swirl together. We added in some dye free candies and stars to make it extra festive.
Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt your white chocolate chips and coconut oil together and stir until smooth (you can either do this on the stovetop or in the microwave).
Once melted, pour about 2 tbsp in one bowl and 2 tbsp in another bowl. Set aside.
Pour the remaining melted chocolate onto the parchment paper and spread around so it lays flat and even.
In one bowl, add 3-4 drops of red food color and mix.
In the other bowl, add 3-4 drops of blue food color and mix.
Using a spoon, add 3-4 vertical lines of red chocolate on the white chocolate pan leaving room in the middle of each line. Do the same with the blue chocolate so the pattern is red line, blue line, red line, blue line etc.
Using a bamboo skewer, swirl the colors together in a figure 8 motion.
Decorate with dye-free candies, sugar, and sprinkles.
Freeze for 2+ hours. Once the chocolate has solidified, break it apart, and enjoy!
