Three Halloween characters made out of food that was going in the lunchbox anyway. Avocado toast on quinoa crisp bread becomes Frankenstein, apple slices with nut butter become monster mouths, and an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie becomes a spider.
The apples are the part to think about — cut them last, and run a little lemon over the exposed sides, or the mouths are brown by the time the bell rings.
None of it needs a special cutter. A paring knife and five extra minutes covers the whole box.
