¼ cup cocoa powder
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp pure organic vanilla extract
1 tsp peppermint extract (optional)

In a small saucepan, bring the milk to a boil.

Reduce heat to a simmer and stir in the cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and if using it, the peppermint extract. Whisk well.

Pour into cups and top with marshmallows and cacao nibs. (We also added some foamed milk prior to adding our toppings.) Enjoy!
