Green Smoothie

An easy way to get my littles to eat green veggies is by mixing them into smoothies. Great for breakfast or snacks, this green smoothie tastes like a banana shake and is naturally sweetened by dates. My son calls it dinosaur juice, and I'm happy to call it whatever he wants as long as I know he's getting his fill of nutrients!

 ½ cup frozen spinach
 ½ cup frozen kale
 3-4 dates, pitted
 1 frozen banana
 1 cup milk of choice
 1 tbsp flaxseed or hemp heartsOptional to add additional nutrients

It’s so easy to make, and you can adjust the measurements to your sweetness and greens preferences. Just blend all ingredients together, and it tastes like a sweet banana milkshake. Perfect for breakfast or an on-the-go snack!
