Bookmark this page for the easiest no-bake July 4th recipe!! Takes just a few minutes, the base is fruit, and my kids LOVED that they could decorate these themselves.
Utensils Used
Popsicle sticks
Ingredients
1 apple, washed and sliced vertically around the pit into 4 thick slices
¼ cup white chocolate chips
¼ tsp coconut oil
4 blueberries, washed
4 raspberries, washed and cut into strips
1
Take an apple slice and make a slit in the bottom with a paring knife. Slide a popsicle stick inside.
2
Mix the chocolate and coconut oil together and melt.
3
Using a spoon, spread the chocolate on top of the apple slice. Quickly decorate with blueberries and raspberries to make a flag effect. The chocolate will harden quickly and "glue" the berries to the apple. You can either enjoy right away or pop in the fridge for the chocolate to harden more quickly. Enjoy!
