Pita Christmas Trees

These finger foods are an easy + nutritious way to get your little ones into the Christmas holiday spirit! 🥑 All you need for this fun snack activity is whole wheat pita bread (or gluten-free), avocado mash, bell peppers, and pretzel sticks!

 1 whole wheat pita bread
 Avocado mash/guacamole
 1 red bell pepper, chopped small
 6 small pretzel sticks
 1 piece of cheese, or if vegan, 1 yellow bell pepper to make a star

Slice your pita bread in half, and then make 6 triangles (3 from each half)

Put a pretzel stick into each base of the pita triangles

Using a spoon, pat guacamole on top of the pita triangles.

Decorate with bell peppers.

Using a mini star cookie cutter, make 6 star shapes from your cheese/yellow bell pepper. Place on top of the pita triangle. Enjoy!
