Lemon Butter Sole

  Fresh sole filets
  Whole wheat flour
 Fresh lemon juice
 Butter (if #dairyfree, we use @earthbalance non dairy buttery spread)
 Garlic powder
 Onion powder
 Salt
 Pepper

In a small bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

In a saucepan on medium heat, brown the butter/nondairy butter spread.

Lower flame to medium-low heat.

Take your fish and dip both sides into your flour mixture.

Immediately set down in the pan and repeat this process flouring the fish and placing in the pan until pan is filled.

Sauté first side until slightly browned (around 2 min) and flip to repeat process.

Finish by squeezing lemon juice into the pan.

Remove cooked fish and repeat entire process for any leftover fish that didn’t fit in pan. We find this fish pairs perfectly with baked and spiced mixed vegetables. Enjoy!
