Halloween Frankenstein Monster Smoothie Bowl

Meet our Frankenstein Monster Smoothie Bowl made with clean ingredients and none of the 𝓼𝓬π“ͺ𝓻𝔂 artificial stuff. Would you believe that you can get such a rich green color from spinach rather than using the unhealthy chemicals from food dye?? My kids and I both love these 2 smoothies (the green face is a tropical fruit smoothie while the brown is a chocolate blueberry smoothie) because they taste delicious, have hidden veggies, and are perfect for Halloween!

Green Smoothie
 1 cup spinach
1 cup Better Than Milk Unsweetened Almond Drink
 ½ cup frozen pineapple chunks
 ½ cup frozen mango chunks
 1 banana
Chocolate Smoothie
1 cup Better Than Milk Unsweetened Almond Drink
 2 bananas
 ¼ cup frozen spinach
 ¼ cup frozen blueberries
2 tbsp Chatfield's unsweetened cocoa powder
 1 tbsp almond butter
Decorating The Monster Face
 1 lychee, cut in half
 2 blueberries
1 chunk of frozen pitaya (dragon fruit)
1

In a high speed blender, combine all ingredients for the Green Smoothie. Pour into a bowl and put in freezer while preparing next step.

2

Rinse out cup. Pour in all ingredients for the Chocolate Smoothie and blend. Spoon the smoothie out into the top half portion of the green smoothie bowl. Using a toothpick, pull down little strips of the chocolate smoothie to look like hair. Create a little bandage looking mark on the cheek.

3

For the monster eyes, cut a lychee in half (or used canned lychee that comes sliced and rinse off syrup). Put blueberries in the lychee cavity to make your eyes.

4

Put the pitaya in the smoothie as your mouth.

Enjoy! Happy Halloween!
